A post from the Boss

Hi Foxxy fans,
I can not believe I haven’t written a blog since….. my apologies life has taken over and my TF blogs have suffered!
As some of you may or may not know but I am the founder, creator and designer of Timothy Foxx Clothing so as requested by a few of you Foxxy followers here is a bit about me!

I am Rosalie, not only am I super busy being a Girl Boss of Timothy Foxx Clothing but I am also mother of two #minifoxxes, a farmers wife to Paul (a pretty traditional one too – he always has his dinner ready on the table when he gets home from the farm and any time I get to drive a tractor on the farm I jump to the task!) we also grow pumpkins for Halloween, you may have noticed a few photos from our photo shoots that involve pumpkins or a pumpkin patch!

I love painting and crafting and generally making things. I also specialise in logo design and branding and I’m pretty hot on social Media too so do a bit of design freelance and consulting in my ‘spare time’
I started Timothy Foxx back in 2008 and made it a Ltd company in January 2009 so pretty established after 11 years of trading. I love being a mummy so I’m in the office during morning hours and then usually run errands in the afternoon. I am chief designer and I also design our Tweed fabrics. I still make a lot of the accessories, for example, the Tweed earwarmers, scarves, cushions, keyrings and the wedding dresses too.

I enjoy my working day as it can be pretty varied, I am either replying to emails, wrapping up internet orders, designing print layouts or sewing. (or tidying up after two tiny humans)

I love attending trade shows as it’s a great way to meet our customers and show them how stunning they can look wearing my tweed. The trade shows are a lot of hard work physically and mentally and pretty ghastly too if the weather is horrible, but we have lots of trade show friends so socially it’s brilliant fun. I also LOVE my ‘Foxxmobile’ – she is a 7.5 ton Blue lorry which is my pride and joy, mostly as I had to save up for 5 years to buy her which meant 5 years slumming it camping in a tent at the shows just to save the money to do so.

We are off to Cheltenham Races in less than two weeks for their Festival Meeting and there is a lot to organise; labeling, packing, packing stock boxes, a spot of paining to freshen up our stand, making more accessories plus the everyday office admin jobs that need doing! So I best be off…
Until next time, stay foxxy!
Love Rosalie
